Viste du at blomster er sammensatte, og at de best\u00e5r av b\u00e5de han- og hun-deler? Blomster best\u00e5r av mange ulike elementer, blant annet fruktknute og kronblader, og blomster har b\u00e5de han- og hun-deler slik at de kan lage pollen og dermed formere seg. Vi l\u00e6rte ogs\u00e5 at kronbladene fungerer som reklameplakater for insekter, blant annet humler. Kronbladenes sterke farger og flotte lukter tiltrekker seg humlene. N\u00e5r humlene lander p\u00e5 blomsten spiser de plantes nektar og dermed har blomsten mulighet til \u00e5 slippe pollen som humlen tar med seg videre. Tor Bollingmo reiser rundt til skoler og arrangementer med Humlebuzz for \u00e5 l\u00e6re elever og andre om humler og deres liv. Vi l\u00e6rte om forskjellen p\u00e5 brodden til humler, bier og veps. Vi l\u00e6rte at n\u00e5r humler svever rundt mennesker s\u00e5 er det ikke for \u00e5 skremme oss, men for \u00e5 lukte p\u00e5 oss. De lukter p\u00e5 oss for \u00e5 kjenne om vi puster ut karbondioksid, fordi det er slik humler oppdager rovdyr.
